Whoa, got you there! Blog friends, I now welcome you to my new home!

And yes, this is the main reason why I’ve bid farewell to my previous home—to give way to a long desire to express my thoughts more, at the confidence of having my own domain name, that is.

Life has been a battlefield for quite sometime now, yes. But hey, I can’t bear being confined with only the negative feelings. And I choose to equally give way to the positive side of life too. Life isn’t perfect anyway so I am struggling with what it has yet to offer through my long journey ahead. And I’d certainly regret it if I cannot take advantage of what great therapy technology has to offer, that no form of medical innovation or magic can do.

The following is an anticipated Frequently Asked Questions with corresponding answers to satisfy one’s curiosity about this development:

What made me decide to register my own domain name?
Too shallow, but it all started with an envy to have the comment responder plugin as what Nice’s Blog had. The plugin automatically emails a reply of the Blog owner to the comment of the Blog commenter which I found worthy having as it promotes great interactivity. Apparently, the free Wordpress doesn’t allow installation of plugins so that motivated me to get my own domain name.

The plugin however is not yet installed in this new home (as you can see its entirety is still sparse, still can’t get over the Misty Look Theme by Saddish :) ) but soon as I have configured installing a few essential features, this home will be more homely.

Why the name fengguillermobrum?
You know how women’s brain are wired to be fickle minded? That’s just how I am. I could have tried registering From Dusk Till Dawn as it is, but anticipating that maybe sooner or later I’ll change my mind on what Blog niche I intend to pursue (all depends on mood swings of a woman), I didn’t bother checking if the domain name is still available because I know very well, I’ll be changing my mind, for sure. So that’s the story behind the domain name. Sounds too generic (Hubby says: “it’s boring!”), but hey, that’s the best option for me.

Registering a domain and getting a webhost requires some “money down”. How much was the damage?
Sure it required a certain amount of financial investment and unlike probloggers who can monetize for the money they invested, shelving some $ definitely is a big deal for neophyte Bloggers like lil’o me. But guess what? I’m lucky because I found a very economical deal, thanks to Aggie, she led me to knowing Amore, who gave me the best deal. So, if you are much like me whose Blogging requirements are just minimal, you might want to check with Amore, she’s generous enough to give you a practical deal. Some money to be spent (that will be good and to be enjoyed for at least one year) is not even halfway of what a woman relentlessly spent in minutes for a branded pair of shoes!

With the new domain, what are your future plans? Going problogging/ paid blogging?
Many Blog friends have been suggesting the opportunity to go problogging / paid blogging (don’t know what’s the difference between the two), and am not closing doors. Potential earnings are just so tempting though I heard (don’t know if it’s just exaggeration) one has to be online almost 24 hours of the time. Haven’t tried it myself though, because for now, I just want to maintain this home simply as my personal online journal-my own little haven where I can freely express how a certain day in life went. But who knows? Maybe in the near future, I’d lean towards that too!

I thought you discontinued your subscription with that crappy ISP, how will you connect now?
Oh, about the ISP. Yes, I pre-terminated my subscription to that crappy ISP but didn’t say too that I will not look for other ISP options. As of this writing (I’m using Hubby’s 3G phone connection), an ISP is on its way of processing my application and I hope to have a more dedicated and reliable connectivity within the week. If this new ISP turns out not to hold to its promise, it’s never tiring to get the services of a new one.
