QUICK FACTS ON EVERYTHING ABOUT MY SHOES
Mitch tagged me here to share some quick facts about my shoes/feet. The Meme says:
What’s your shoe size? Are your feet the same size as your mom’s feet? How about your sister’s feet? Can you borrow shoes from each other?
Post a picture of your latest shoe buy. Tag the number of women of your shoe size, i.e. size 5 = tag 5 friends. Don’t forget to drop a line in this blog when you’re done.
My Mom, my sister and I have the same shoe size. Size 5 to be exact. Small size ei? Heehee. That’s precisely because we’re all petites!
Well, at least it’s to our advantage because we seem to enjoy the privilege to borrow each ones shoes. And what’s best about it was me and my Sis need not spend much on signature/branded shoes like those Manolo Blahniks because our Mom, whose a self-confessed shoes shoppaholic (I tell you, she’s just an inch away to being an Imelda Marcos, LOL!), always have a pair to lend us whenever need arises.
Unlike my Mom though, I’m the type of person who treats buying shoes, or any footwear for that matter as a necessity rather than a luxury. Call me kuripot, but that’s just the way it is. Like Mitch, I go for multifunctionality vs. being more conscious on brands. “Nasa nagdadala lang yan,” as Mitch had put it.
And as for my latest purchases, they’re not actually shoes, but colorful flipflops from Banana Peel. Thanks to Mitch, I was encouraged to shop too. And mind you, I shopped not just for me, but for my family as well, including my Mom and my Sis (heehee, I purposely ordered for them so I can borrow their’s too). These were what I got in my cart for just a little over P1,500. And the good news, shipping is free of charge! Continue Reading »
