A GREAT NIGHT OF BONDING WITH MOMMIES
I’ve already mentioned in a recent post that going out with my Mommy friends is one of my simplest pleasures in life. Well, I’ve had one again last Friday night. In the company of Cookie, Cess, Chats, Lynn, Teacher Julie, and Wenchie. And true enough, it was once again one of those greatest times. 
After squeezing in a little shopping on the side (shopaholic tandem Cookie and Chats got themselves new pairs of ballet shoes), we spent the time chitchatting (of course, swapping stories about our kids topped the list!) and talking just about anything that our talkative and bratatatatat Mommy tongues led us to. On top of that, we’re also eating, taking photos of the great food at Burgoo (our second time there, BTW) and each other. Heehee, that’s just how multitasking-inclined Moms are. You know.
And as usual, the tick of the clock was too short as we didn’t notice it’s almost past midnight yet we’re still packed with so many stories to tell. Thanks to that sour-tasting decaf for the rest of the Moms (except me and Wenchie who both had ice cream at late night, mind you!) we realized we had to call it a night.
It feels good knowing that even though our lives are so busy and our schedules are packed, still, we found time to take a break from the mundane of a gazillion of never-ending Mommy duties. Not that being a Mommy is a responsibility to be complained about. It’s just that, bonding with Mommy friends alike makes us revalidate our self-worth and well-being. It makes us feel more fulfilled as a mother and as a woman. (Naks, parang tunay! Haha!)
Anyway, I know there will be more of these great times. A Gym, Spa or Salon Date next time perhaps. Or a “daytime” Slumber Party or Halloween Party (with or without Halloween invitations), I’ll definitely be looking forward to them, promise!
