And so we’ve transferred Nico to a new school. It’s a low-profile preschool though, but the promise of a developmentally-appropriate method of teaching convinced us enough to enroll Nico in the school.
The new school required parents to accomplish a parent questionnaire prior to the child’s assessment and interview, which I found really commendable because it details the relevant information and facts that the school and its teachers ought to know before accepting new students. I have to believe that the school and the parents’ role should be complementary, so it is very important that both parties work hand in hand in helping the child succeed.

It’s back-to-school once more for my Little Boy this coming Wednesday.
And with us already completing all the school supplies listed in the things to bring, I think we’re all set.
It’s a bit stressful shopping for Nico’s school supplies this year because unlike last year that school supplies are already incorporated in the tuition fee we paid, this year, we have to buy our own. Most of the school supplies Nico would be needing this year are for purposely for arts and crafts like water color, brushes, scissors, coloring pens and pencils, play dough, and among others. I thought it would be easy as shopping for baby clothing, but oh my, I was so wrong.
There’s simply so many brands to choose and the more I compare a cheaper brand vs. another one which is a bit expensive, I’ve had this thinking if the school supply I will be buying will last longer. You know, when you have a preschooler, buying crayons and pencils can be a lot more frequent as if these school supplies were disposables.
