MY LITTLE SNAPPER LEARNS TO FLOAT

Time and again, the saying that goes: “if you give your child a secure start by building their sense of trust, they will eventually be confident enough of themselves to explore the world”, has never been more true. Likewise was a parenting article which says:

Don’t be afraid to let them try and fail, if need be. Be supportive. Don’t be critical or demanding, however, do build character traits in them such as responsibility, dedication, determination and diligence, good working habits and enthusiasm. When they see themselves succeeding a little, they will want to do a lot. If they truly love something, they will stick with it. —Article on how to find your child’s talent

The very first day of Nico’s swimming lessons, he was too reluctant to even get the feel of the water. It was the worst. Well, not anymore. Day 2 of the swimming lessons, my Little Snapper was all ready and eager to learn and love the water. Thanks to the ever patient and persevering coaches of BLSS, they sure brought out the confidence in my Little Boy. And just last Monday, the Little Snapper learned the trick of floating. Yey!

Of course, the Mom is beaming with pride for the nth time. :) Sharing some photos and a video montage of this milestone. ;)

thanks Rach! :) we’re surprised as well. I guess, tama yung kasabihan ng matatanda na mas madali turuan ang mga bata.

man I can’t help but relate to this post. my 3yr old niece has also taken swimming lessons for the summer and seeing her swim, I just feel so proud! Kids these days are unbelievable. My very small niece has no fear of water whatsoever! And looks like your little boy too!

hi Javi! thanks for the visit here! :) yes, I agree, kids these days are really amazing! they achieve milestones early on and often very smart. must be something in what they eat ei?

nakakatuwang malamam na ganyan din ang three-year old niece mo. aside from her parents, you must have so proud of her too, like I am with my son. :)
