THE BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT EVER
It would be a cliche to say that “the best Christmas gift of all is the simple presence of a happy family all wrapped up with one another”. The same goes for what every Christian family wished and hoped for, right? But given a chance to name anything material that I’d like to receive this Christmas, on top of my wishlist would be an i-Phone definitely, or a Canon EF 70-300mm telephoto lens as an added accessory for my camera.
As of todate though, I haven’t received any of the two. Hubby was all aware I want those for myself but I understand too, I can’t have it at this time as we need to prioritize where to spend our hard-earned money. We’ve both decided that half of our Christmas bonuses for this year, plus earnings we got from our little growing business, will be alloted as advance payment for the existing housing loan that we have. That should augment our outstanding balance significantly, thus we can request for a re-computation and shorten our term of payment to (hopefully) just 10 years.
Sad as it may seem, our spirits for Christmas is not at all dampened, receiving today the best Christmas gift ever. Continue Reading »
