PARANOIA OVER A PRESCHOOLER’S LACK OF INTEREST TO WRITE, SOLVED!

I use to worry about Nico’s lack of interest to write over the last few months. My worry was so intense than usual that I panicked too much. Not even the reassurance from Blogfriends stopped me from worrying, would you believe? In between work and family chores, I did some research too, get advices from Moms alike (I even bought Nico a huge white board with all the blue and red lines in it, just as was Rach advised!), compare my son’s milestones with kids of his age, and even pondered on pursuing a consultation with a specialist, etcetera–were to name a few of the most ridiculous moves that I did.

Hubby wasn’t aware of such overrated moves I did but the moment he discovered I scheduled an appointment with a doctor (thanks to Nico’s Neonatologist who broke the news to him), I was doomed! He was quite upset but fairly holding on to his temper, ever understanding Hubby begged that I stop as he said I was just overreacting and only paranoid about simple things. WEEKEND TRIP TO THE JOLOGS BARBERSHOP

Remember Nico’s Jologs na Barbercut? Well, we paid another trip to the same Barbershop again. Since we discovered that more practical way of getting a good haircut for little tykes (but at a reasonably cheaper price), Nico has been a regular suki, saving us more on such kind of a monthly expense.

Going to the jologs barbershop always brings new discoveries to us as we witness how our Little Boy behaves so well and show signs of independence in a seemingly strange place. Seeing him seated in a somewhat rotten vintage barber chair, partly unsupported by his Dada and brave enough to go on with the flow as the Barbero (armed with a razor, scissor and comb) cuts his hair, simply amazes us. Oh my, we can’t help but take deep breaths of sigh and say unto ourselves that “Hey, our Nico is no longer a Baby indeed!” Continue Reading »
