WEEKEND TRIP TO THE JOLOGS BARBERSHOP
Remember Nico’s Jologs na Barbercut? Well, we paid another trip to the same Barbershop again. Since we discovered that more practical way of getting a good haircut for little tykes (but at a reasonably cheaper price), Nico has been a regular suki, saving us more on such kind of a monthly expense.
Going to the jologs barbershop always brings new discoveries to us as we witness how our Little Boy behaves so well and show signs of independence in a seemingly strange place. Seeing him seated in a somewhat rotten vintage barber chair, partly unsupported by his Dada and brave enough to go on with the flow as the Barbero (armed with a razor, scissor and comb) cuts his hair, simply amazes us. Oh my, we can’t help but take deep breaths of sigh and say unto ourselves that “Hey, our Nico is no longer a Baby indeed!”
And a milestone it was, of course, we’ve always wanted to capture them in photos. But always and always, the forgetful me failed to bring our camera. So for this weekend trip to the jologs barbershop, thank heavens, I was reminded to bring my new camera along and document everything.
Here’s to share some of those photos.

Hesitant little tyke during the first few runs of the shaver.

Nico’s Dada partly supporting a portion of the little tyke’s head so the Barbero can make a thorough cut.

Our Little Boy trying to compose himself and be brave as the Barbero cuts through the side of his head.

Anxious but brave Nico poses for a decent shot while the Barbero targets to run through the rest of the Little Boy’s hair at the back.

A closer look at the cut while Nico looks at himself in one of the mirrors of the jologs Barbershop.

Photo shows a braver Nico simply going with the flow and counting minutes to go before the haircut is finally over.

And just in case you’re all wondering what a Jologs Barbershop offers, photo above shows the number of services available matching their prices.

Nico’s face getting a little more pleasant as the Barbero does some finishing touches.

And finally, our handsome Little Boy in his new haircut. What killer smile he’s got! (kahit na medyo bungi). ![]()

Ang nice ng haircut ni Nico. Bagay sa kanya. Btw, anlaki ng tipid nyo with Jologs Barbershop. Sana si Andre din namin gusto na sa talagang barbershop. Mahal kasi dun sa mga laruan ng kids eh.
thanks Nice! oo nga, ang laki talaga ng tipid sa barbershop compared to a Kid’s Salon. we used to pay around P250 and up just for Nico’s haircut until when he’s older (turning 3 sya nun), his Dad suggested why not the barbershop near our house. I was hesitant at first, but seeing Nico so behaved and cooperating through the rest of the haircut session, at maganda rin naman ang gupit, ngayon, suki na sila ng Dad nya dun.
Parang naaasar si Nico. Ang wafu ni Nico, bagay sila ni Deye. :p
hehehe, Mitch, medyo irritated nga si Nico dyan sa jologs barbershop but he survived it bravely!
re: Nico for Deye–aba’y wala akong tutol dyan. pwede na ba kitang tawaging balae ngayon pa lang?
Cute naman. Anong gupit yan, 2 by 3? Parang military cut yan ah. Bagay na bagay, if you ask me
Re: Mitch’s comment. I beg to disagree.
My daughter refuses to have her hair cut in the parlor. Ayaw daw nya ng maraming “yucky” hair, he he.
