If you are nice, you are loved.

This logic was what exactly came to mind soon as I saw my name in the list of recipients for the Nice Matters and I Love Your Blog Awards.

The Nice Matters Award came from Mitch while the I Love Your Blog Awards were handed over by Mitch (again) and Nice.

Bella Enchanted, who started spreading the Nice Matters Award, believes that recipients of the award goes to: “Those who are just nice people, good blog friends, and those who inspire good feelings and inspiration! Those who care about others, who are there to lend support, or those who are just a positive influence in our blogging world.”

And oh my, simply reading the qualities above, must I say that I am just as flattered and overwhelmed knowing that Mitch considered the lil’o me to be bearing such traits. Hey, Mitch are you really sure you’re considering as someone nice? Hehe, baka pag nagkita tayo in person, ma-dismaya ka?

Kidding aside, I’m so blessed to have met Mitch in the wide world of Blogsphere. If there’s such a thing as a Blog Soulmate, she is definitely my one treasured friend. You know the feeling when you just met, know one another better, and then you can’t explain why both of you just “clicked”? Well, Mitch is someone like that. And I can’t wait till its 2009, so we can finally see eye-to-eye.

And even at our busy days, we still find time to visit each other’s Blog with no particular purpose whatsoever but simply to leave a message or comment and just know how each of us is doing. No wonder, Mitch fell in love with me, and awarded me (for the nth time, I can’t remember na how many times she awarded with recognitions spreading from all over Blogsphere) with the I Love Your Blog Award. Hehe, well I guess she’s biased huh?

But then again, she might partly not, because Nice, my new-found Blogfriend, handed me too with the same award. I am not so sure why and what in my Blog she particularly loves and what got her hooked. As far as I can remember, I saw her one time as one of the incoming links in my Blog Stats page, and when I checked Technorati, I surprisingly discovered that she linked me up. And later when I visited her Blog and leave a note in her Tag board there and then she reciprocated back and commented in one of my posts: “Hi Feng! I’ve been a silent lurker for a while but I enjoy reading your posts as it is always well written and it speaks from the heart”. And the rest, as they say, was history. From then on, we frequent visits to each others’ Blogs only to discover we have so many things in common, on being a Mom especially. (Hi Nice, I didn’t give you a love poison to drink naman di ba?) And just the same, with her fondness of my Blog, it’s an honor for me and I am beaming with glee.

There are so many people in my own little world of Blogsphere that has been so nice to me and whom I love back. And even as our friendships are products of the so-called Global Village, still I am thankful for they continue to serve as inspirations to me to be the best I can be—as a Mom, as a person. So then, I pass the Nice Matters and I Love Your Blog Awards to them:

Nice of We are Family
Coincidentally the award is the same as her Blog handle, but no, it was not the reason for passing the award to her. She deserves it because she’s one friendly person and she’s really nice, not only to me, but her other Blogfriends as well. See her responses to the comments, you can really sense she’s very accommodating and open to advices and suggestions, and that makes her double nice.

Kelly of 100% Kelly
A Blog friend who is always ready to lend an attentive ear even to my mabababaw kind of posts. Her gestures of being so nice and friendly (as evident in the comments) continue to lead me to positivity, making me feel that my mabababaw kind of posts weren’t that mababaw after all.

Thet of (formerly) One Day at a Time
She’s taken aback her Blogging for a while, the reason why, I’m trying to read between the lines in an email she sent me last week. But I do hope she’ll find her inspiration again to resume Blogging for I know she’s one great person who is not only nice, but sincere and expresses her thoughts straight from the heart, no sugar-coating or whatsoever. I remember her surprising me with a PM from Pinoy Exchange saying our Babies’ birthdates were coincidentally days apart and then I responded by saying I hope we could be friends even online. Another surprising discovery though was when she emailed me (she didn’t know that I was the same person she sent a PM in Pinoy Exchange) saying the nicest things about the content of my Blog and how she can very well relate to most of the contents in it. Later on she emailed me again to say, she was the same person as the one who sent the PM. From then on, we were good friends and promised one another to meetup when she visits Manila hopefully if not next year, the following year.

Need I say more about how nice she is? What I like most in her, aside from being so nice was she’s a very good adviser. Reading from the significant comments she’d made from one Blog to another, you can readily sense she’s the person who never fails to reach out and lend a hand to her Blog friends, including me. And that makes her super nice to the max.

Should I explain some more? Of course, I’ll include my Blogsoulmate and pass her back the award she gave me. We share the same ka-jologan, ka-cheapan, lahat na. So when she says: “Feng, galaw-galaw naman dyan” everytime that I’m on hiatus, I knew she just misses me much.
