TO DEAR HUBBY, ON YOUR BDAY :)
It’s been weeks since 05 September (Hubby’s 34th Birthday) has passed and definitely too late for a greeting. But as the saying goes: “better late than never”, so I’ve prepared a candid greeting for him just as to put in record that I did greeted him anyway. Nyahaha. Days has been quite busy that I (read: unintentionally) forgot to think/get something special for him so I’m making up via the candid poem below. Despite forgetfulness, Hubby said he still loves me to death anyway, so…

So it’s your birthday,
And what can I say.
You’ve proven yourself worthy,
By being the best Dad and Hubby.
Thank you for being the best Dad,
To our three-year old tod.
For teaching him how to get drank,
With you showing him how to empty a tank.
For spoiling him to eat sweets,
Even if it takes him having impacted teeth.
For daring to sleep over his butt,
Even if Nico begged you to read what a book is all about.
We’re supposed to have Nico as our only baby,
But look here, Nico’s dressing you up, as if you feel you’re a kiddy.
Kidding aside though,
I’m grateful for the fatherly love you never fail to show,
You’re a stage Dad,
Don’t you know that?
You make sure to always comb Nico’s hair,
Despite knowing his crowing glory automatically dries up in the air.
You’re a hundred percent certified paparazzi,
That you always aim to snap a shot of our kiddie.
For all time, you’d make sure to guarantee his safety,
By being behind him always in streets that are risky.
And thank you too for being the best Hubby you could be,
To a very impatient and all-time moody Mommy and Wifey me.
I will no longer say much,
‘Coz you and I, we both know how spices in married life make up such.
But just the same, so as you know,
Nico and I loves you so, and everyday it grows and grows.
We love you Dada, Happy Happy Birthday!

Pareho sya ng hubby ko, he lets aizel indulge in sweets while i really try to stop aizel naman. she used to hate chocolate but because of hubby, she’s a chocolate lover now.
wow, very nice poem feng! at naaliw ako sa pics! big boy talaga si nico nakakatuwa, ang cute pa! bakit ba ang mga tatay pare pareho yata..kanina lang tama ba naman bigyan ni hubby si iya ng chocolate 1st thing in the morning!? (well, 2nd pala kasi he made sure naman daw she drank her milk first before giving the chocolate!!) tsk…
