A WEDDING AND A FUNERAL
Err, the title of the post sounds similar to that of a foreign movie. But for the purpose of journaling in this online diary what happened to our colorful lives in recent days, let me just rephrase the title to be more chronologically precise. It should have read: A Funeral and a Wedding.
And yes, what an irony, don’t you think? Imagine, shifting moods from deep sorrow to bliss of joy? And everything happened so fast, as in just within the same week. Well I guess life is like that, most of the time, you’ll just never know what lies ahead even if you have advance plans.
It’s time that he rest (The Funeral)
Maybe it’s about time that he rest.
These were the words we honestly realized and said ourselves the moment we’ve got back into our senses after days of asking God why He took FIL so soon. Everything just happened so fast. Just as we in the family thought he’s on the way to recovery after weeks of hospitalization last month, our dearest Daddy Domeng finally joined our Creator only a few days after my very own Dad’s first death anniversary.
