THE FACE BEHIND THIS BLOG
Different photos of my face as well as my Personal Profiles in certain Blogs and social/community sites are scattered all over my little spaces in cyberspace. So need I say/post more?
- As a Mom and member of the Pinoy Moms Network, my About Me page can be viewed here.
- As a Friend, the My Profile page is here. You can add me if you want and I’ll add you back.
- Through the Memes and Tags in the Me and the Blog Thing category of this Blog, you’ll know more about me too.
- And if you explore the About Me and This Blog page of this online journal (which I haven’t updated as I am now SAHM), you’ll still see that darn same sepia photo of me.
So would that suffice enough? Nah, I’m just kidding. Actually, the purpose of this tag is to get to know MORE of the person (and her face) who writes for this Blog so better that I stop my excuses and start writing down more About Me. Here goes:
I prefer to be called by my nickname Feng and not my real name. If ever you knew my given name and call me by it, I’ll forever hate you for that. Period. My surname sounds of a German origin and often, people think my husband’s a foreigner. But I swear, he’s a certified Tagalog.
During the first meetup of Mommy members of the Pinoy Moms Network, most of the Mommies hardly recognized me. I remember Connie saying, “ay ikaw ba si Feng, parang hindi eh” while SexyMom remarked, “parang ang tanda mo kasi at ang taba mo sa mga pictures”. I don’t know what and how to react with their comments because I thought, “ano ba yun, compliment or negative note?”. But seriously, the most common feedback I get from readers of this Blog often associate the face and the writings behind this Blog as someone mature (daw), dead serious (or so they thought), straight, boring, mushy and very organized.
What they don’t know, it’s actually the opposite. The owner of this Blog is immature (close to being childlike/childish), humorous, has swerving moods, out of the ordinary, not-so-mushy and is very disorganized.
And to abide by the instructions of the Meme (to post a photo that is not shared on line), here, I’ve posted a picture of me. Hehe, sepia pa rin but at least that photo was not yet posted online, just now.>>>>
Now for the two copycats who unfortunately tagged me. A brief story before I tell a little something about them. As I’ve commented in Analyse’ Blog for this Meme, my face is all over the Blogsphere so no need to tag me anyway. But I guess she felt guilty for not tagging me that she took my comment so seriously, and tagged me eventually! And Cookie, whom Analyse originally tagged, (I guess) saw my comment there too so she thought I was more than willing to play along the tag. And so I was double-tagged. (Duh, that’s what I get for writing candid comments).
Analyse. Actually I have many words to describe her. But for the purpose of making a
mark in your heads easily on who she is, just think of Potatoes. Why? Because she’s head over heels over two French Fries, este, Frenchies pala–first is Louna, her ever adorable, pretty little 20-month old daughter whose on potty training right now, and second her every dearest Frenchguy, who loves her back to death and called her Monalissa the first time they met. Together with her frenchies, she’s journeying a colorful and exciting life in Dijon.
Cookie. Well, she claims to be the person as deliciously cute as those yummy treats from Mrs. Fields. Well, these are the few words that’ll make her happy, so pagbigyan na natin, let her be. If her name doesn’t make a recall to you yet, you can associate her with Pong Pagong. Why? Well, that’s because her blogsphere handle is Kongkong, close to Kangkong, which Pong Pagong loves. No, but seriously, Cookie is one great Mom I’ve known in the Blogsphere. Her life revolves around his boyfriend of 7 years and soulmate and now loving husband (whose got impulses on buying an SUV and going to unplanned trips to Tagaytay) and two lovely little girls Adi and Gab (who poses relentlessly in the camera with pouted lips and swinging arms and legs).
***
And now to spread the sarcasm, este fun pala, I’m tagging May and Roxie–two people I met online and later on we realized we work for the same company, err, organization.
Here are the instructions for this Meme:
1st step - Post a short blog article that includes a photograph (or a series of photos) showing the face behind your blog. If you already showed a photo somewhere on your site (such as in your about page), then make your post more interesting and choose a photo that’s not currently online.
2nd step - Include links to other people that have displayed a photo, or include their photos in your post, adding a reference.
3rd step - Tag as many others as you like in your post to spread the meme.
4th step - If you link back to me and send an email, I’ll be sure to include links back to you. Each person tagged should create their own post and repeat the process.

It’s been quite a while since I visited… got too caught up with work. So, how’s life as a SAHM?
yes Analyse, I was giddy writing the entry. it’s a TGIF thing kasi, no school, no work turnover, etc etc. kaya ayan, it was reflected in this post.

if I can make it to the Aug 30 EB, you’ll see.

hehe, i enjoyed doing the tag actually. when I read about this in Analyse’ blog, I knew this would be a good venue to know more about the writer of a blog.

Kakatapos lang ng long day ko sa office *kuno* hehe!
Goodnight!
Hi Feng. At the mommy lunch, I admit mas nauna ko napansin si Nico and when I looked up and saw you, that’s the time it hit me, ah it’s Feng.
I think some moms at the lunch easily remembered my blog when I mentioned Yohan.
Thanks for sharing these things about you. Such a cute childhood photo. I had the same hairstyle when I was in Prep.
I posted my own version of this meme just recently. Nakakahiya man, I went overboard with the sharing of my photos. haha! If you have time, you can come by again.
Take care!
