MORE WEIRD THINGS ABOUT ME
Thanks Cookie, you gave me a big headache thinking of those weird things! And my, it was hard enumerating ha. And like you, I’ve already done this Meme before so I just added some nine more to the previous six I listed here.
Whew. Now, I’m beginning to believe it myself that I am a weirdo indeed. Hehe, here goes:
- When everyone else in this world is so addicted, super head over heals, and hooked to Harry Potter (may it be anticipating the latest release of the new book or the showing of the latest movie), it never appealed to me. My friends often say that for HP to appeal to you, you have to start with the book then it’ll eventually lead you to watching the movie (to test if indeed the scenes are faithful to the book). Would you consider me as weird on that note? Or am I just “the isolated one”?
- When I buy clothes (particularly Tees and blouses) and get to like its style/cut, I buy about three color variations. Sometimes, if I really can’t help it and my budget can afford it, I buy all the colors available. Examples of these are the Spandex huggable shirts and Meg blouses available at Greenhills Shopping Center. Could that be called weird? Or am I just a sucker for a particular clothe style?
- I love the addicting smell or rugby. When something needs to be glued, say for example: suwelas ng shoes, I’d volunteer to do the repair using Rugby. Could I be called weird for that? Or better I be called “rugby girl”?
- Whenever I see pregnant women wearing maternity clothes and dresses, I feel envy and wished that time would turn back to my being pregnant so I could wear the latest trend in maternity clothes. And to take away my envy, I’d go to maternity clothes shops like Gingersnaps and Havin’ A Baby and check on the latest fashion. If tempted, I buy a blouse for myself, thinking I can still wear it in the future. Duh, could that be considered weirdness? Or is that still part of my postpartum blues?
- I’ve always dreamed of having a top of the line mobile phone and dispose my already ancient old cum worn-out and malfunctioning Nokia 3010. I collect flyers and brochures from Telecom Centers and was even brave to ask customer service officers for the features of phones I eye to buy. My, some even recognized me already coz I’ve inquired a lot of times already. But when it comes to finally deciding to buy (and thank God, I was able to save enough money to buy one), I’d often suspend my plan and realize in the end that I can still use my old phone. Would that be called weird? Or am I just the kuripot one?
- I have a bunch of desk calendars and planners (hehe, mostly are Christmas gifts from companies). And trying to be the organized person that I am, I scribble them with reminders and notes. Still, I get to forget a lot of events and appointments! Now, weird ba yun? Or it’s just me being so forgetful?
- I love collecting food recipes, desserts especially. If it is shown in TV, I jot done notes and if read in the Internet, I print the recipe. But asked me if I tried and followed the steps, I’d say No. Most of the time, I modify the recipes and invent a new one on my own. Gee, it is weird enough? Or is it that I am not a good follower?
- I love using the supply of toothpaste at home to the max that even when there are ample standby-supplies, I’d still persevere to empty to the max (as in simot) a tube of toothpaste. To even check if indeed the tube still contain some toothpaste, I’ll cut the tube in half to see if there’s any. Sayang kasi eh. Ano naman yon, sadyang weirdo? Or am I just the type of person who wants worth for money?
- And lastly, I can bear a day without the need to go to the washroom empty my bladder. That happens when I am super occupied with things to do or in good fate, I’m in the Mall and busy shopping/window shopping. Weird enough? Or just shopping addict?
To spread the fun and get to know weirdness of other Bloggers, am tagging Nice, Thet, and Kelly–three of my newfound Blogfriends.

Ditto on #’s 1, 2, 8. Tip.. found a shop in 168 selling stuff you can find in Sari-Sari, Bayo, and Maldita. The owner is also the sub-contractor. Super cheap pa. Mga 250-300 bucks lang per blouse. Namamakyaw ako dun ng pare-pareho

Hi Feng! Mission Accomplished.

Pinag-isipan ko talaga.
I tried to read HP … the very first book … I think i finished it naman pero i really psyched myself to. I also saw three HP movies … more for bonding with my children than anything else. Ay … whats wrong with me? So, uphere and yehey, Feng.
As for toothpaste, I am the one naman to always squeeze on a fresh tube. Naawa ako sa flattened tube eh .. hahaha.
I guess we have things in common and things we do differently. Here’s to diversity.
Enjoyed.
