THREE STARS ON THE SCHOOL’S FIRST DAY OF CLASSES

This I have to brag. My little preschooler got three stars on his first day in school last Monday, 18 June 2007, and that makes us truly proud. No first day jitters or whatsoever unruly behavior of a three year old (I guess the pre-camp classes helped). Surprisingly we just saw a preschooler that was well-behaved and very cooperative all throughout the 2-hour class session. He was even was able to impress his Teacher. :)
Nico got three stars for 1) Reciting his complete name confidently when the Teacher asked him to introduce himself. He was never shy and was even able to spell his full name out loud; 2) Coloring the drawing in the piece of paper given by the Teacher. When the Teacher asked what color is most appropriate for the drawing, Nico said “Red because it’s a cherry”; and 3) He’s so well-behaved during the recess/break that Nico lined-up quietly and patiently wait for his turn to pee in the bathroom.

We are so happy with how his first day went as described in the digiscrap below:

The caption of the digiscrap says:

We never expected you’d make it this good in school, all we wished was for you to have fun with friends and enjoy schooling. But to our delight, you exceeded our expectations and brought home three big stars. And that makes me and your Dad, TRULY PROUD.

Mommies May, Christianne and Len, thanks so much for the well wishes. :) i hope Nico would not look at schooling as competition, but rather a venue for learning while enjoying and having fun. :)

Linnor, haha, Jake is smart in his own little way, singer yata yan paglaki eh, ang galing mag videoke. re: the chubby lil hands, i notice he’s leaner na these days. must be the lesser milk intake and more involvement in play and other physical activities. :)
greymom, thanks. we’re proud of our kids, for the little and smartiest things they do. syempre, love your own. :)
Rach, thanks. i hope too he can stand by being behaved so that Teacher wont get mad and would willingly give more stars. :)
sassymom, thanks so much. of course, we should be proud. nanay tayo eh. :)
