PRAYING FOR MY FIL :(
(My apologies for disabling the comments. I just need to be unburdened by writing a few thoughts regarding my FIL.)
It’s been two weeks now since Daddy Domeng (my Father-in-Law) was confined in the hospital and until now, he hasn’t been recuperating from a long-time sickness. Daddy Domeng is suffering from a respiratory disease which his attending physicians described as now in a serious stage. And it’s depressing to know that the disease was only discovered recently due to complications it manifested in recent weeks.
It pains me seeing Daddy Domeng in such a catastrophic condition (yes, that’s how doctors in the hospital classified the disease in the reimbursement form filled up for PhilHealth) not solely because he’s the father of my husband, but also because I’ve always treated him as my own father, next to my own real dearest Dad whose death anniversary will be in a month’s time. And while I often heard it’s a common situation among in-laws “not being in good terms”, must I say that I’ve been blessed with a very kind and supportive FIL (so sad though that my MIL passed away years before Jun and I got married).
