SEVEN SONGS FROM THE HEART: MY VERY FIRST TAG

What do you know, I got to do my very first tag in my entire Blogging life and it’s from a co-Mommy in Pinoy Moms Network–Salen a.k.a. Sassy Mom of Moms Around the Corner.

Sassy Mom, my apologies for responding a bit late. It was only now that I had a chance to type in a few entries because the whole day of yesterday and today, my Little Boss wouldn’t permit me. Nico was sitting at my lap the whole time I am in front of the computer. :)
Anyway, as to the seven songs I am currently listening to, they are:

  1. How Did You Know by Gary Valenciano. I’m having an LSS tonight after watching Aga Mulach and Kristine Hermosa’s movie All My Life in ABS-CBN 2, so I played the song over and over in my Media Player. Actually, the song meant so much to me. It’s one of my favorites, especially the ala “Nursery Rhyme version”. Not familiar with this version? It was used as a background music in Ceelin’s (the Ascorbic Acid for Kids brand of Pediatrica Inc.) value-formation advertisement in view of the company’s tribute to Pinoy Mothers as it was then Mothers Day of 2004. This song is dedicated to who else–my precious Little One Nicolas.
  2. More Than You’ll Ever Know by Michael Ruff. I love listening to this song once in a while especially at times I feel kinda mushy. This song, of which the lyrics I encoded at a lax time during my Electronic Journ class back in College, was my way of pagsagot ng matamis na Oo to my boyfriend back then (whose now my ex-BF cause he’s now my Hubby). The lyrics of the song was contained in a 3.5 Floppy Disk (di pa uso flash drives nung time na yon) that I handed out to Jun on 06 March 1996, the day we became steady. So does that mean that I am kinda mushy tonight. Hmm, maybe. Sort of. We have a kinda romantic ambiance now that we’re on vacation and at a beachfront.
  3. Tanging Yaman by Carol Banawa. This song meant so much to me. It always reminds me of the very special day Jun and I handed out Sampaguita Lays to our parents during the Tribute to Parents rite in our wedding ceremony. The choir was currently singing this song when we were giving our the lays, making such moment so touching that we were teary-eyed.
  4. Take Me Out of the Dark by Gary Valenciano. Because we are currently on a Lent Seaon, I played this Christian song as a way for me to gather thoughts and have a meaningful reflection.
  5. You Are My Light by Basil Valdez. Next to Carol Banawa, Jamie Rivera and Gary Valenciano, songs and compositions by Basil Valdez are my fave. They are very classic, yet touches the heart. A good way to reflect too through a song.
  6. Brahms Lullaby. And as Nico is about to sleep already tonight, I played this song in my mobile phone in a conservative volume as I put him to sleep. This is a song Nico and I love to sing together.
  7. Ugoy ng Duyan by Lucio San Pedro. This song followed after song number 6 so as to cap my Mommying chores for today.

Now that completes the seven songs that I’d listened to just tonight.

For the continuity of the tag, I’m tagging along Aloi, Roxie, Linnor, Christianne, Mhalou, Soloops, Atty. Alma and Ayee.
